December 4, 2009 - Take-Two won't rush along its next Grand Theft Auto title to turn a quick profit.
During a company conference call, Chairman Strauss Zelnick stressed the wow gold company doesn't need to release a major Grand Theft Auto title every year to be profitable. He also applauded the efforts of Rockstar Games for experimenting with the franchise on different platforms, such as Xbox LIVE and handhelds.
"We don't feel that GTA ought to be an annualized franchise," Zelnick said. "Of course, there's a balance between how long it takes cheap wow gold to develop such an incredible title and meet consumer expectations, and how long you need to make sure that an appetite has been both satisfied and whetted for the next franchise."
"That's something I think the company historically has done rather well and I think the high profitability and resiliency of the franchise reflects that."
"I wouldn't see that changing," he added.
Grand Theft Auto IV first released back in April of 2008. The title has since seen two downloadable content add-ons, with the latest, The Ballad of Gay Tony, out this past October. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars saw a portable release on DS, iPhone, and PSP this past year.
