My home town is a beautiful place, which stands beside a wide river and is rich in fish and rice.

But in the old days it was a poor and uncultured small town. Many people were not employed. They lived a miserable life.

Since 1949, great changes have taken place in my hometown. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals and cinemas have sprung up one after another. The life of people is now completely improved.

I love my hometown. The most I love is the people in my hometown. They are so generous and diligent and also working hard in order to make our hometown richer and more beautiful.
