@麦吾丽丹
I enjoy your progress in using English to express your ideas. It is not easy at the beginning. If you do more, you can become more and more skillful in using English. This is what we are doing together. I agree with you that we need to listen and read something interesting in learning English because interesting listening and reading materials can help us learn English more happily.
@陈洁坊
When your expectations of our English language teacher education are clear, we need to work together to turn these expectations into action. For example, if we want to achieve our successful curriculum and syllabus design, we need to make the students’ implicit and unspecified needs explicit and specified for our curriculum and syllabus design.
@贾艳
I appreciate your expectations for knowing more in various areas of English language teaching. However, a wider vision must be perceived for you to learn more effectively. You need to remember that it is far from enough for you to know what you want to know. Learning to use what you know is much more important than learning to know it.

Your experience is revealing in that forced learning may be effective for a short period of time but it can never last forever. We need to be prepared for our transformation from forced learning to our goal-oriented learning that will lead us further in our life.
@张苗
I enjoy what you said. It is true that the rapid and healthy development of China has brought us a better life and will bring us an even better life. Everyone should cherish this. What we want is to improve our life rather than losing our lives.
@09050115
You are right. We need to improve our life step by step. It is not wise to damage our life because it is not perfect.
@10800313
I delightfully appreciate your view of China's future. What we need is to enjoy our peaceful life rather than destroying our hard-won peace in life.
@卢燕娟
Yours is really a very good account of your updated purposes of English language learning and teaching. I have learned a lot from you and at the same time you enable me to offer you my ideas of English language learning and teaching to effectively support your effort in English language learning and teaching. One among my ideas is presented as follows:
In response to your idea 'Practice makes perfect. It is always true.' I made the following comment: 'But I never think so although practice is very important. From my 34-year teaching experience, I have found many things that are more important than practice such as the goal, objectives, resourceful reflection, critical thinking and creative thinking, to name just a few.'

Yes. You are right. You learn for your future teaching and research as your profession. Our research is for our better learning for our better teaching and research in future.
